I have included a concept image of the next KITT in my previous post. That was for the film adaptation of the Knight Rider, and not the revival of the TV Series. Although only little has been known about the upcoming series, everybody knows that the next KITT is something to watch out for. And why not, after all, this “intelligent” car is really worth something to look out for. They must give KITT a little twist though. Like, make him talk trash or something, voiced by Samuel L. Jackson at the most. (But that’s just me. Of course a TV series can’t fund a Hollywood big time.) Which gets me wondering…Who will play the role of the Knight? This I have to see…
Anyway, enough of that. Let us now move on to more interesting details. According to an exclusive scoop by Jalopnik, KITT is better off without GM’s third generation F-body. This is kinda like a good thing coz then KITT will have the body of the coveted Ford Shelby GT500KR Mustang. This steed is said to gun a powerful 550 horsepower. Wow, now that’s worthy of being a KITT. Check out these spy shots courtesy of Jalopnik. According to them, this baby didn’t work quite as expected when it was at the effects studio. The red light atop the grille was just repaired via photoshop.
